Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply to this website and ticket purchases.

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and your purchase of tickets to the Yeronga State School Community Carnival Fete, run by the Yeronga State School P&C Association. By using this website or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms.

The event

The fete is held at Yeronga State School, 122 Park Road, Yeronga QLD 4104, on Saturday 22 August 2026, from 11am to 6pm. Event times, activities, rides and stallholders are indicative and may change without notice.

Ride passes and tickets

Ride passes are sold per child and cover unlimited rides for the day, subject to individual ride height, age and safety restrictions. After purchase you will receive a QR code by email, which is exchanged for a wristband as described on the Rides & Tickets page. Please keep your QR code secure; it may be required to collect your wristband.

Pricing and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and do NOT include GST, as the P&C does not collect GST. Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider at the time of purchase.

Refunds and cancellations

Ride passes are generally non-refundable except as required by the Australian Consumer Law. If the event is cancelled in full, we will provide information about refunds or alternative arrangements via this website. The fete is a rain-or-shine event and proceeds in most weather; wet weather alone is not grounds for a refund.

Ride safety and children

All rides are operated by licensed amusement operators and are subject to their safety rules, including height and age restrictions. Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times. Please follow all instructions given by ride operators and event staff.

Conduct and entry

We want the fete to be safe and enjoyable for everyone. We reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the grounds, any person behaving in an unsafe, unlawful or disruptive manner.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Yeronga State School P&C Association is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from attendance at the event or use of this website. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
